Ju-Nel, Dallas Architectural Firm
Dallas Architectural Firm
Ju-Nel Homes was a pioneering architectural firm in Dallas, founded in 1959 by architects Lyle Rowley and Jack Wilson. Both protégés of renowned architect Howard Meyer, they sought to redefine residential design by introducing modernist principles to the Dallas housing market. Their innovative homes, primarily located in neighborhoods such as Eastwood Estates, Casa Linda, Old Lake Highlands, and Lake Highlands, are celebrated for their open floor plans, extensive use of natural materials, floor-to-ceiling windows, and seamless integration with the natural landscape. Despite building only about 50 homes between the late 1950s and early 1960s, Ju-Nel’s designs have left an indelible mark on Dallas’s architectural heritage, attracting creative professionals and design enthusiasts alike.
