Opening Night of the DALLAS Film Festival at the Angelika Theater Features the Movie Bill Cunningham New York and an Opening Gala Afterwards

One of the movies featured on the opening night of the DALLAS International Film Festival at the Angelika Film Center near Highland Park was the movie Bill Cunningham New York. Michael Cain, Chairman of the DALLAS Film Society, interviewed the movie director, Richard Press, and the producer, Philip Gefter, before the showing of the movie about Bill Cunningham, a writer for the Style section of The New York Times. Mr. Cunningham’s columns focus on the street fashion of everyday New Yorkers and the fashion of New York socialites. Liener Temerlin, Founder and Chairman Emeritus of the DALLAS Film Society, was in attendance for the viewing. After the film, audience members spoke with Mr. Cain, as well as Mr. Press and Mr. Gefter and attended the opening Gala with events throughout Mockingbird Station.
